Ray's Rods & Restorations (formerly DiSchiavi Enterprises) is an automotive restoration shop located in Jackson, NJ. It was started in 1980 by Mario S. DiSchiavi, who is a graduate in Automotive Design from Pratt Institute in New York, and has over 50 years of Corvette and overall restoration experience. The current owner, Ray Sztabnik ("Stab-nick") has over 30 years of experience restoring and racing Corvettes, and was hand-picked by Mario to take over the reigns. If you've been seeking a one-on-one experience with someone who will meticulously work on your prized piece of automotive history, as if it were their own, you've found the right place.

 

Our Duntov award winning Corvettes are restored to N.C.R.S. & Bloomington Gold Standards, and we specialize in all types of restorations from Corvettes to Muscle Cars, Street/Hot Rods, and classic cars from the 1920's-1980's both foreign and domestic. 

 

We are one of the few restoration shops that will still paint in Acrylic Lacquer, the way they were painted originally. We also paint in 2 stage, if desired.

Ray also has extensive experience in grafting later-model engine management systems, accessory drives, and suspension components into earlier vehicles, long before "Resto-Mods" had grown to the popularity we see today.
